Hello.  I am beginning my 16th year of teaching, and this will be my 14th year as a 3rd grade teacher.  I attended Fontbonne University in St. Louis and earned my BA in Elementary Education with a concentration in Language Arts and a MA in Education with a concentration in Curriculum Instruction.  This is my first year teaching in the St. Louis Public School District.  I am very excited to be a part of the AMES VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS TEAM, as I am a lover of the arts!

I am a mom of two boys who are 17 and 19.  I have three dogs and a rabbit.  My favorite ways to spend my time are reading, watching documentaries or movies, drawing, painting, listening to music and visiting with family and friends.  My favorite colors are blue and purple.  I love sunflowers, butterflies, animals, and the country.  My favorite season is fall, because I enjoy the colors, cool weather, and bonfires.
