Welcome to my Visual Art Webpage

    Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

I look forward to new adventures as the 2024-2025 school year begins. This year, along with exploring two-dimensional mdia, art history and aesthetics, study of third-dimensional media and concepts will be introduced. This focus will include practice in form building/additive and subractive sculptural processes with various modeling media, paper and cardboard, fabric, and found objects. We will also continue working on district competitions, collaborative projects and arts integrations.

In the event that Ames goes virtual, you will find information and links to assist with virtual learning. Each student will be placed in a Microsoft team by grade level and art classes meet at their regular in-person time. Meetings may be accessed on their Microsoft Teames Calender and students will also be called to their visual art class meeting.

Please use this website to stay informed of Visual Art assignments, announcements, and curricular events.
