I am one of the Special Education Teachers for Woerner Elementary.  I have been a teacher for the past 11 years.  I became a teacher after raising my own child with special needs.  I wanted to help other children who struggled to learn like my son did, so I went back to school and got my teaching degree and have been teaching every since.  I enjoy my job and love seeing the growth my students make.  My favorite part of the job is when we have been working on something and they realize they got it correct.  Their face lights up and they are so happy. This makes my day.
