M. DeGreeff

The mission of the Career and Technical Education Division is to provide quality educational services for preschool to grade 12 students and adults through academic, personal, career and technical opportunities that enhance the workforce and economic development potential of the St. Louis Region.

Ms. DeGreeff is thrilled to have students in the classroom and looks forward to getting to know them.  This year will be filled with learning and adventure as there will be challenges and excitement.  She will strive to have a healthy and safe environment preparing students to meet their post-secondary goals.

This is Ms. DeGreeff's fourth school year at Soldan International Studies High School, and her 17th year as an educator.  Previously, she taught with Mizzou’s College of Education’s Outreach Program, assisting high school students in the St. Louis area transition successfully to their post-secondary goals.  She spent her first teaching years with St. Louis Public Schools.  In partnership with St. Louis Public Schools and Washington University, Ms. DeGreeff coordinated and taught a community work experience program for students with IEPS.  Seeing students succeed in and outside of the classroom brings her joy!  Her experience with young people also consists of coaching cheerleading in parochial and public high schools.  

Ms. DeGreeff's family is from the Philippines and she feels fortunate to visit with them in the summers.  St. Louis City born and raised with some of her childhood spent in Kentucky, she will throw "ya'll" around.  She enjoys family life, dancing, karaoke and learning the ukulele.  Ms. DeGreeff is a proud soccer Mom to a very active and talkative little girl who is in the fourth grade this school year.
