Weclome 

My name is Mrs. McLean. I am an EL teacher here at Woerner Elementary.  I have worked for SLPS for the last 20 years. I have my bachelors' degree in Elementary Education from SEMO. A masters in reading from Webster University, followed by a special reading certificate at UMSL as well as ESOL certification. I love teaching and learning!   

My mission is to create a fun and safe environment for students to grow. My goal is to give every child relevant knowledge, the courage to try new things, the curiosity to seek new answers and the ability to be the best they can be. 

Besides being a teacher, I am a wife and mother. My husband Steve and I have 3 beautiful and energetic kids. Alexia, Mason, Matthew. We love spending time together walking our dog Bruno, reading, crafting and playing games.
