    Dearest Ames VPA Families,
     
        Welcome to our school and another exciting school year.  My name is JaVeeta Prince and I am the principal at Ames Visual & Performing Arts.  Each day I support and service children is an absolute personal and professional pleasure!  My team and I are happy to be part of your children's' educational endeavors. 
      As an important Ames VPA star, it is our intention and obligation to ensure that children truly shine.  Although we anticipate challenges, we also plan for students to thrive academically and socially.  My team and I want children to enjoy their educational journey within the St. Louis Public School District and of course, at Ames VPA.  
      The Ames VPA team recognizes how vital your partnership is as we navigate this school year.  We need your support, expertise and stamina to ensure that we support children while they are in our care.  You and your children are official Ames stars so we look forward to making an everlasting, positive and effective impact in your children's life.  We strive to ensure that your children shine and soar beyond what is anticipated.  We shall allow our mantra to drive our work with your children:  "All Children Have Purpose!"
