    About Mrs. Bardot-Guile
         
         I am so excited to be a team member of Mallinckrodt Academy of Gifted Instruction! 
     
         A bit about me:  After homeschooling my own gifted scholars, I taught in another district as I also furthered my own post-graduate education, later joined the SLPS team in 2011, and finally joined MAGI in 2022.  When not at school, I can often be found in the great outdoors.  My husband and I enjoy working in our National Wildlife Federation-certified garden and eating the fruits (and veggies) of our labor!  Some of my hobbies are reading, hiking, year-round camping, and traveling coast-to-coast to visit our seven kids and extended family members. Lakota, our border collie mutt, often accompanies us wherever we go.  My bearded dragon, Iris, can usually be found in the Science classroom during the school year.
         I value the individuality and uniqueness of every scholar.  We are a strong team: students, families, school staff, working together to develop student leadership, self-determination, and self-discipline, as well as develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
