Hello! I am Ms. Wikstrom and I am super excited to join the team here at Mallinckrodt this year.

I graduated with my bachelor's from Truman State University many moons ago. After working in television news for a few years I decided to try something new and found a job teaching English in South Korea. I taught at an elementary school grades K-6. After two years of teaching there, I had found my passion. I then moved to Hong Kong and taught in a dual language kindergarten classroom for six years. While teaching there I recieved my Masters in Teaching from the University of Central Missouri. I loved my time abroad, but am looking forward to living closer to home and spending more time with my family and friends.  

I am dedicated to teaching young learners and look forward to building meaningful connections between my students and our classroom work this year. Focusing on kindness and the value of trying our best, I'm sure we will be able to accomplish many things!
