    About Mrs. Bardot-Guile
         
         I am so excited to be a team member of Mallinckrodt Academy of Gifted Instruction! 
     
         A bit about me:  After homeschooling my own gifted scholars, I taught in another district as I also furthered my own post-graduate education. I joined the SLPS team in 2011, and finally joined MAGI in 2022.  When not at school, I can often be found in the great outdoors.  My husband and I enjoy working in our National Wildlife Federation-certified garden and eating the fruits (and veggies) of our labor!  Some of my hobbies are reading, hiking, year-round camping, and traveling coast-to-coast to visit our seven kids and many extended family members. Lakota, our border collie mutt, often accompanies us wherever we go.  
         I value the individuality and uniqueness of every scholar.  We are a strong team: students, families, school staff, all working together to develop student leadership, self-determination, and self-discipline, as well as develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
         I encourage everyone to be curious- all day, every day, everywhere, and ... Keep calm and science on😊.
