Greetings! My name is Edneshia Hamilton. I am the social worker at Peabody Elementary. I graduated from  Jackson State University where I played women’s basketball for 4 years while receiving my Bachelors in Social Work. I then continued my education at The University of Southern Mississippi where I received my Masters in Social Work. 

I am a wife and mom of a precious baby boy, and I absolutely love what I do. My duty is to help serve, guide, support, and be a resource to those around me, including YOU!  I am so excited about starting my new journey with the SLPS family working with the children at Peabody Elementary! I take joy and pleasure in working with the youth and am looking forward to helping make a difference in each and every life that walk the hallways. 

I have a heart for children and my desire is that I may be able to spark just a small fire in their lives that will help keep them on track, energetic, and excited about success!! I am looking forward to a fantastic school year!
