Greetings,

I am so excited to continue with the Peabody family for the 2024-2025 school year. It is a privilege to be part of this wonderful learning community. My focus word for this school year is “gratitude”.  I believe that it is important to give thanks in all things.  I find that when I focus on my blessings, it leaves less time to complain.

My family relocated to St. Louis area from North Carolina in 2020.  I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade.  This will be my 23nd year as an educator.  I have taught in North Carolina, Virginia, Vermont, and now Missouri.  I truly believe that all children can learn if given time and a safe space to learn. 

In my spare time, I enjoy completing jigsaw puzzles, watching movies, singing, dancing, and hanging out with my family.

Communication will be a key part in our success this year.
