I am excited to be a Preschool Teacher and colleague for the 2023-2024 school year at Peabody Elementary.

I graduated from Southeast Missouri State (SEMO), with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education. I have a beautiful daughter, Kayla Lynn, I got my first teaching job.  I taught Kindergarten at Villa St. Joseph Child Care and Education Center.  A small Catholic school with four pre-school rooms and one kindergarten.  This was a wonderful place to begin my career as a teacher. I worked there until the school closed in 1997, due to low enrollment. In 1998, I was hired by the St. Louis School District, to teach Kindergarten at Dunbar School. I stayed at Dunbar until June 2012 and then transferred to Peabody Elementary. At present, I will be teaching pre-school at Peabody for the tenth year. I look forward to meeting my new students, their parents, and getting to know them.  I will be happy to see my returning students and see how they have grown over the summer.
