A+ Program
Ms. Lydon-LorsonThe primary goal of the A+ Schools Program is to ensure that all students who graduate from Missouri high schools are well prepared to pursue advanced education and employment.This program provides pays tuition and fees for two years to qualifying students to attend a four-year Missouri college, vocational school or technical school.Student eligibility includes the following:- Maintaining a 2.5 GPA or higher- At least a 95% attendance record for four years (in high school)- Performing at least 50 hours of unpaid tutoring or mentoring to younger students or studentsof the same age group- Maintaining a record of good citizenship- Registered for selective service (males, 18 and older)DrumlineE-Sports
Speech & DebateNational Honor SocietySoldan BandStudent CouncilMr. MillerThe purpose of the Student Council is to act as the student government for Soldan, ask for the input of ideas from the student body, act as liaison between the faculty, administration, and the students, improve the school environment, foster school spirit through events and activities, and to act as leaders and role models for the students at Soldan.We look for motivated students with a 2.5 GPA, 90% attendance, and no discipline record to help facilitate campus events such as dances, spirit week activities, and community service.
