Hello!

My name is Daniel Hehner, and I am proud to be the Physical Education teacher at Nottingham High School! This is my 4th year teaching in Saint Louis Public Schools and my 13th year working in special education. I am excited to join such a positive school community, and I look forward to collaborating with parents and staff to best help our scholars. 

One goal of mine is to emphasize the importance of healthy living. Students will be encouraged to work hard, make safe and informed decisions, and tap into their unique strengths to fulfill their potential. Together, we will create a supportive and collaborative atmosphere that helps students grow mentally, physically, socially, and academically. 

Some of my personal interests include biking, gardening, hiking, reading, and traveling. I enjoy seeing new places, meeting new people, trying new foods, and participating in new activities. I aim to foster open-mindedness and acceptance with our students, as well.
