• Virtual Learning Platforms we will use:

    My View: Savvas Realize

This will be used for ELA, Math, and Social Studies lessons and assignments. There is now an app that has been downloaded to student's iPads. The site may also be accessed through the internet browser at https://www.savvasrealize.com/, Students all have a unique username that has been saved in their iPads and should automatically load when opened.

    SuccessMaker

Students should be spending a minimum of 60 minutes a week on both SuccessMaker Reading and Math. This is accessed through their Savvas Easy Bridge app.

    Freckle

Students should be spending a minimum of 60 minutes a week on both Freckle Reading and Math. This is accessed through the Freckle app on the iPad, or through their Renaissance account.

    MyOn!

Students should be reading 20-25 minutes every day. MyOn is linked to student's Star Reading scores to provide them with fun and appropriate reading choices, and is accessed through the Renaissance App.

    Nearpod

In the event of asynchronous or virtual learning due to school shut down, Nearpod may be used to record lessons or small group activities for students. This can be downloaded through the manager app on SLPS iPdas, app stores on personal devices, or accessed through an internet browser at https://nearpod.com/ . Each lesson will have a unique code that students will enter to join. I will also be using this app while on Teams meetings to add fun and engaging ways to interact with students, even we're apart.

    Flip

This app, formally know as Flipgrid, can also be downloaded through the manager app on SLPS iPads, or accessed through an internet browser at https://info.flip.com/en-us.html. Each lesson will have a unique code that students will enter to join, and it will frequently be incorporated into Nearpods so students have the option to record themselves answering questions or reading text outloud for me to hear, even if I'm working with another group.
