• Welcome to ETS @ Madison Principal's Corner

    Marvin Echols, Jr. began his work with children as a Residential Facility Supervisor for the Department of Mental Health.  He also worked for Caring Communities as the Student Assistant Coordinator and as a Site Manager at Jefferson Elementary.  He was the Behavior Specialist at Dunbar Elementary, Vashon High School, Beaumont High School, and is currently the Director of ETS @ Madison Therapeutic School.  

    He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Missouri - St. Louis and a Master in Social Work with an emphasis on Behavior Management at Washington University.

    In his work he assist schools, parents, caregivers, teachers, and principals with behavior modification strategies to change inappropriate behavior that are displayed by children.  He presents contemporary and holistic techniques at workshops, motivation seminars, parent support groups, and home visits.  He has been instrumental in developing, managing and delivering programs that focus on bringing the child, parent, and teacher together as one.
