 I am a native of St. Louis, MO.  I have studied and graduated from the SLPS City School District. I went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree from Lincoln University, a Master's Degree in Elementary Education at UMSL, and my Gifted Certification from Lindenwood University. I taught third grade for one year, fourth grade for three years, fifth grade for two years, and this is my seventh year in second grade. I feel influencing the lives of young people for over 10 years is my natural gift.  My passion is grounded in making connections and building relationships with all the students I encounter.
 
I am a phenomenal wife and mother.  In December 2023, we will celebrate twelve years of marriage.  I have a daughter (Evan).  She is 10 years old and starting Fifth Grade this year.  In my spare time I enjoy listening and dancing to music, playing the drums, watching sports, traveling with friends, and family.   I am a Lakers fan (before Lebron) and Steelers by default (my husband).   I am excited about teaching second grade this year!!
