Biography:
Welcome parents, guardians and students!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am excited about teaching students. I have taught Special Education for 17 years. Thirteen of those years were here at SLPS.
I graduated from SIU-E in Edwardsville, Illinois, in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts. Upon leaving SIU-E, I immediately enrolled in Fontbonne University (Clayton, Missouri) to pursue a Master's Degree in Special Education. In 2006, I graduated from Fontbonne Univ. with a Master's Degree in Special Education, a one class (Cap Stone) short of a Master's Degree in Computer Education.
Currently, I hold a certification in Special Education (Cross Cat K-12) and a Reading Certification (K-12). I, enjoy working with students and seeing them working towards goals that will enhance their lives academically, socially and emotionally. One of the greatest joys is seeing them become productive, hardworking, law-abiding citizens that are capable of making great decisions.
