     Hi Parents and Students!
     
    My name is Rebecca Cook and I am one of three preschool teachers at Gateway Michael Elementary. I have been teaching for almost 8 years at Gateway Michael and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else! 
     
    Here are some facts about me:
    - Dual certified Early Childhood Special Education; K-12 Cross Categorical Mild-Moderate Disabilities
    - Earned my Bachelor's of Science, Education from UMSL
    - Born and raised in South St. Louis
    - I have a 7 year old daughter, Gabby
     
    If these 4 facts can tell you anything it's that I love education, children, helping others, and my hometown. Learning is an essential tool and working with little ones and helping them reach their goals is so exciting. 
     
    This webpage will be an important tool for us to communicate and reference throughout the school year. Please try to access it on a weekly basis so that you can be aware of any upcoming dates/appointments, special events, reminders, and assignments.
