Hello, 

My name is Mrs. Jackson and I am currently a Preschool Co-Teacher in the Early Childhood Program at Columbia Elementary. I have been employed with SLPS since March 2018. My background is not in the Educational Field but my passion to be an Educator since I was child drove me to be in this particular career. I have and still remain employed in the Healthcare System. I am a Registered Medical Assistant with an Associate's Degree. I also possess a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management. My goal is to return to school in the near future to receive my Master's Degree in Elementary School Counseling.  My personal opinion is everyone, children included, should be able to voice any concerns or opinions they may have to any unbiased listening ear!

I was a product of SLPS in my early childhood. I would often tell people, " I was molded and shaped by some of the best Educators on the planet, hands down!" Times have certainly evolved since I was in Elementary school. Yet, what remains certain is honestly in my opinion SLPS has some of the most amazing, dedicated, hard-working staff and students in the World!

    Students don't need a perfect teacher. Students need a motivated, creative and HAPPY teacher who's going to help them achieve excitement when attending school. The student then will develop a love for learning that surpasses into their adulthood.
