Hello all! I’m Parker Fisher, and I'm thrilled to say that I am the new music teacher at Patrick Henry Downtown Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year. I can't wait to share my passion for music with our students, and help them to foster a passion of their own. I graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelors of Science in Vocal Music Education. During my time at Missouri State, I developed a deep appreciation for teaching music to young people and watching them grow in their musical abilities. I have an appreciation for all genres of music, but some of my favorites include Jazz Fusion, Classical, and Impressionist Compositions.

I began my journey to music in elementary school, where I actually didn't have any interest in music at all, that was, until my music teacher gave me a new perspective on music. That experience was what led me to where I am today, I hope to provide that for our scholars here at Patrick Henry. I’m eager to create harmonious and memorable experiences with our students and the community, and I look forward to meeting our parents and scholars!
