    My name is Ms. Daytona! I have been in a teaching role for special education since 2017 and am excited to work as an ILA as our special education teacher this year at Carver Elementary. I joined our SLPS schools four years ago and love working with our students here at Carver. I love being a teacher and working with kids. My hobbies are art, relaxing with family, and being in nature. I was born in Utah, but have lived in several different places here in Missouri throughout my life. My two favorite quotes would be from Dr. Suess: "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you'll go" and "You're off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so get on your way". I also have a personal quote that I love, which is "Everyone is different and that is OK!" I love everyone for who they are!
