    Thank you so much for being a part of our STEAM and TREAT event. Thank you for partnering with Shenandoah Elementary School in the successful education of our students. We are proud of our Shenandoah Tiger Families!!

     

    Studies show that a strong connection between home and school benefits children tremendously. Students whose parents/caregivers stay actively involved in their education do better in school and demonstrate a higher attendance rate, better social skills, and an increased graduation rate.

     

    Why is STEAM/STEM important in education?

     

    The whole point of STEAM/STEM is to inspire inquiry and curiosity; to empower students to ask thought-provoking questions that promote creativity and exploration, and to connect their problem-solving to real-world solutions. With STEAM/STEM, no subject, or student is excluded.
