Dear Families,

Welcome to an exciting new school year! My name is Ms. Pointer, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as your child’s first-grade teacher. I’m so excited to join the first-grade team here at Wilkinson Early Childhood Center!

I have had the joy of working in early childhood education for six wonderful years—four years in Pre-K and two years in kindergarten, all right here at Wilkinson. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in helping young learners develop the confidence, curiosity, and academic skills they need to thrive.

As I begin this new chapter in first grade, I bring with me a deep commitment to nurturing each child’s unique potential. I believe education is not only about academics, but also about building relationships, supporting emotional growth, and creating a classroom where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.

What brings me the most joy in this work is the opportunity to serve families like yours in a fun, caring, and supportive environment. Watching children grow academically and socially throughout the year is truly the most rewarding part of what I do.

I am looking forward to a year full of learning, laughter, and success. Together, we will make this school year one to remember!
