Dear SLPS Families and Staff,
Due to the threat of severe weather, all after-school activities, including athletic events, are canceled for today, Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
The National Weather Service is predicting a potential for strong storms in our area this afternoon and evening. School will dismiss at the regular time, and buses will run as scheduled. However, if there is an active severe weather emergency during dismissal, we will prioritize the safety of our students and staff and delay dismissal if deemed necessary.
We are monitoring conditions closely and will continue to communicate any updates. Thank you for your continued cooperation and understanding.
