Dear Oak Hill Families!

On behalf of the entire Oak Hill team, I am thrilled to welcome you back to our school community as I begin my fourth term as Oak Hill's School Principal for the 2024-2025 school year! Your children are at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to providing them with a safe, nurturing, and enriching learning environment.

Our dedicated educators and staff have been hard at work preparing for an engaging and rigorous school year. We are ready to inspire and guide your children, encouraging them to explore their interests, discover new talents, and develop the skills they need to succeed both academically and socially.

Communication and collaboration between home and school are vital for your child's success, and I encourage you to stay involved in their educational journey. We have a range of events, workshops, and parent-teacher conferences planned throughout the year to ensure that you are well-informed and have the opportunity to connect with us. All families are welcome! We have translation and interpretation services available at any time as needed.

Our goal for the year is for 100% of our students to be proficient and advanced and demonstrate 2.5 years of growth in reading and math from the beginning of the year and to increase attendance to above 90%. We will share student data in these areas in each of our newsletters so parents and families can see our progress toward those goals throughout the year. These ambitious goals are not unattainable as every student has the potential to attend school regularly and grow academically each year. The Oak Hill staff relies on our parents and families to support our efforts in promoting a school and classroom environment where every student feels physically and intellectually safe and where scholar learning and attendance is valued and celebrated.
