About Me:
I am a happy mom to my 9 year old Maddox, who will be in 4th grade this year, and wife of 14 years to my husband Matt. We LOVE to go to concerts and discover all that St. Louis has to offer.
I was honored to receive the 2020-2021 Educator of the Year Award in the category of School Support Leader for my role as Academic Instructional Coach in the St. Louis Public School District! It was a very exciting experience, and I am so excited to continue my work at Oak Hill as the School Principal!
I have been an educator in the St. Louis Public School Distrtict for 19 years. I started my career in August of 2005 teaching 6th grade Communication Arts at Carr Lane VPA Middle School. I worked at Carr Lane as both a 6th and 8th grade teacher for several years. From there I became a Consultant Teacher with the St. Louis Plan in 2012. In 2015 I began my work at Oak Hill Elementary School as the Academic Instructional Coach. Throughout my time as an educator, I have received Master's Degrees in both Educational Administration and Reading. My certifications include Birth-3rd Grade, 1st-6th Grade, Middle School Communication Arts and Science, K-12 Special Reading, and Building Level Administrator. I absolutely love it here at Oak Hill Elementary! The staff is amazing and works very hard to make sure their students have the best of the best. I am excited to see what we can accomplish in the 2023-2024 school year!
