In a land far, far, away (Bosnia), Mr. Skokovic was born. He moved to St. Louis from Italy when he was just 6 years old. He attended Missouri Baptist University and got his undergrad in Sports Management. Mr. Skokovic then decided to go back to school to earn his Master’s in Education, clearly in PE (NOT GYM!!!). Mr. Skokovic is starting his 7th year at SLPS. Mr. Skokovic was named the SLPS Physical Education Teacher of the Year for 2021! 

On a personal note, Mr. Skokovic has a wife named Megan and 2 girls, Sienna and Kiara. He loves to spend his free time with them, especially going to the park and reading books. When he is not spending time with his family, Mr. Skokovic loves watching sports and other competitions on TV. Mr. Skokovic loves going fishing and spending time outdoors and of course spending time with the wonderful staff of Carver Elementary.
