Ms. Ivory
A brief bio of Ms. Ivory:
Ms. Ivory is a St. Louis native. She graduated from Harris-Stowe State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, and from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. Ms. Ivory has served the students of Saint Louis Public School District for the past several years as a teacher. She currently serves as a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher. In 2018, Ms. Ivory was honored as runner-up for the Saint Louis Public Schools Elementary Literacy Educator of the Year. As a teacher, her mission is to prepare and support young learners as they grow academically. Ms. Ivory is a true testament to the perseverance and pursuit of academic excellence.
Ms. Ivory has received numerous recognitions during her career, being celebrated for her remarkable talent, accomplishments, and contributions to the community. Ms. Ivory has professionally excelled and given back to her Alma mater in various ways, thus receiving a Distinguished Outstanding Alumnae leader award from Harris-Stowe State University.
Rashidah was featured in the winter 2019 Delux Power magazine and recognized as a game changer, and awarded one of St. Louis’ most inspiring and influential professionals.
In addition to being a leader in education, outside of the classroom, Ms. Ivory enjoys spending time with her family, singing, adding to her shoe collection, traveling, reading, and watching, and playing sports. She currently serves with the Community Outreach Program at Life Changing Christian Fellowship, mentoring high school youth. Rashidah leads her mentees in community service around St. Louis. She values supporting her mentees as they grow into young leaders in their communities.
