    Greetings Shenandoah Families,

    The 2nd Annual Literacy for the Lou Community Event is happening this Saturday, December 7, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the Missouri History Museum (5700 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, MO). This event celebrates reading, writing, and community connection and is shaping up to be an incredible day for our students and families.

    This special event celebrates reading, writing, and community connection while highlighting the importance of literacy for all families and students in our district.

    What to Expect

    • Free books to build your home library
    • Special guest authors and student resources
    • Award ceremony for Spelling Bee champions from each school
    • Food trucks, free exhibits, haircuts, and more

    We’re looking forward to seeing many of you there and making this event another great success for SLPS. Your dedication to our students and district is truly appreciated!
