Welcome!

2024-2025 I am Shonda Ayers and this is my fifth year at Hamilton Elementary. I am excited about learning and growing together. No matter how this year looks, if we work together with respect, understanding, and courage, we can be successful in our classroom!

About me:

I have lived in Shiloh, Illinois for the past 12 years. I am the middle child of three. I have one daughter, Alexandrea. I love to read, shop, and travel and spend time with my family. This summer I did a lot traveling with Amplifying Civil Rights Education (ARCE)  Outside of teaching, I love to spend time with my friends and family, dance, and travel.

Expectations: 

We will utilize the PRIDE Matrix in our classroom. We will all aim to practice Positivity, Respectfulness, Integrity, Determined, and Excellence in everything we do.
