Hello and welcome to 2nd grade!

I'm Ms. Locke, and I'm excited to be your teacher this year. I've had the pleasure of teaching various grades, including 5th, 3rd, and now 2nd grade at SLPS. Each grade has its own unique joys and challenges, and I'm looking forward to a wonderful year with you all!

Outside the classroom, I have a few hobbies I really enjoy. I love gardening, spending time outdoors, playing video games, and watching movies. This summer, I picked up knitting, and I've been working on some fun yarn projects. My family is being very patient with all my new creations!

One of the things I find most rewarding about teaching is seeing how much students grow and learn over the school year. It’s amazing to watch your progress and achievements!
