Hello & Welcome Monroe Families!

My name is Mrs. Hayes-Adams,

I am the 5th grade teacher/reading specialist teacher here at Monroe Elementary School. This school year I will have the privilege of providing reading services for  4th and 5th grades.  I would like to start first by saying it is an honor and pleasure to be given the opportunity to educate your child/children.  I have been teaching at SLPS for 24 years .  I received my degree from Harris Stowe State University(HBCU) and a Master's USML and various certifications from UMSL.I am a mother of 3 children ( 2 boys, 1 girl), and a proud owner of 5 fur babies (cats).
