Hello. This is my first year teaching at Shenandoah, and I'm very excited to be here. I have been working for St. Louis public schools for over 13 years in the capacity of a Substitute Teacher, Positive, Behavior, Interventions Specialist, In School Suspention Teacher and classroom Teacher. I have taught 1st and second grade for SLPS and now Pre-School. I have also taught Pre-School for 3 years in Cahokia, Illinois and 1st grade in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I have a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University and love teaching our students. My vision is that everyone can learn, they just have to have caring and loving teachers and support from home. I have 4 children, 2 of whom are Pre-school teachers as well, and 2 in college. I also have three grandchildren: 5, Kylie, 6, Savion and Caden 7. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 30 years and 34 total.
