Ms. Conry has a passion for teaching preschool. This is her seccond year teaching at Oak Hill and she is overjoyed to be returning. Ms. Conry believes in creating positive and enriching expriences for children such as science classes held outside in the learning garden and interactive story time to bring children into the world of literature. Together, you, your child, and Ms. Conry will work hard to expand your child's social, literacy, language, mathmatical, musical, artistic, physical, and scientific skills and knowledge!

Ms. Conry uses Roger's Uncondition Positive Regard in her classroom for classroom managment. This classroom managment strategy revolves around assuming that children have good intentions and believing that all children are born "good". Children will have a chance to talk through their actions and learn conflict resolution skills. This classroom managment strategy also acknowledges parents as their child's first teacher. Building meaningful teacher-parent relationships is imperative. 

Ms. Conry has lived in many places including a farm in Iowa and Seattle, Washington, but now calls the Gravois Park neighborhood home. She currently holds a Bachelor's of Theatre from Truman State University and is finishing her Masters of Early Childhood Education at UMSL. Ms. Conry loves coffee, her family (including her three cats), and performing on stages across Saint Louis. Ms. Conry is an active member of the South City Community so don't be suprised if you see her around!
