Greetings Pierre Laclede Family,  

Welcome to our 2021-2022 Academic School Year!  We ended the previous school year with an unexpected challenge of Blended Learning; however, WE DID IT!  We were able to conquer the odds through simultaneous virtual and in-person instruction and learning. You have proven through your hard work that nothing is impossible when we collaborate and work together.  I am extremely grateful and proud of the students, parents, faculty, staff and the community partners of Pierre Laclede. 

As we begin this year, we will continue this adventurous journey with determination to ensure academic success for all students.  Pierre Laclede has a rich history of intentional high levels of achievement.  We are committed in the continuation of providing a positive, nurturing, and safe learning environment where diversity is valued, respected, and celebrated.  

I am elated to return in my 8^th year as your Principal Leader and I feel honored to work with our highly qualified and committed staff, our wonderful scholars, and all of the supportive parents and community stakeholders.  The elementary and intermediate years are critical times of development for students and families and I look forward in working with all of you to make this academic year successful as we foster the love for learning.
