Mrs. Timmons

Hi, my name is Jamie Timmons.  I am the kindergarten teacher at Oak Hill Elementary School.  I have been a teacher for 24 years.  I received my bachelor of Science in Education in Early Childhood and Elementary from Eastern Illinois University.  I returned to Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville to earn my Masters in Curriculum Instruction with an emphasis in early childhood.   I received the Kindergarten Teacher of the Year Award in 2009.

I am happily married and have one child.  I enjoy many hobbies.  I like to go to the Muny, the zoo, church and read.
