Biography

 My name is Gennean Gillespie and I began my career journey with the St. Louis Public School System over 20 years ago. I joined the Herzog Elementary family in 2019. I really enjoy working with the 1st graders, they are always so excited about learning new things and sharing their thoughts and personal experiences. I believe that all children have the right to a quality education that meets them where they are, and provides them with an educational foundation to reach their highest potential. I will work diligently to provide my students with engaging lessons that meet state requirements and grade-level expectations. 

Our classroom tries to "ROAR"  each day and we have a special school-wide chant that we say each day. Encourage your child to practice our chant and to remember that they are all special and unique and capable of doing great things! We will learn and grow together during this school year, and build a strong bond between school and home!
