Welcome to my webpage!  My name is Laurie Batres.  This is my 23rd year working for St. Louis Public Schools and my 16th year at Betty Wheeler Classical Junior Academy.  I have taught both as a classroom teacher and gifted enrichment teacher.

I have two grown sons and love to travel with my family.  Some of my favorite activities are swimming and snorkeling.
