 Welcome to my web page!

I am Jennifer Beffa and this is my 28th year teaching at Betty Wheeler Classical Junior Academy.  I love teaching art and working with gifted children.  The students, staff, and families at Betty Wheeler CJA bring great joy to my life, and I feel honored to work here.  

My family moved into this area almost 70 years ago, and I was born, raised, and continue to live about a block from our school.  I attended Maryville University and currently have my Master’s degree +30 in elementary and gifted education.  I am also a National Board Certified teacher.  I received my certificate but am also working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts.  I have been blessed with four beautiful children, ranging between 13-23 years old. We also have a dog and two cats that we absolutely adore.  As you can imagine, my family keeps me busy.

In my free time, I enjoy several hobbies. I love flowers and nature and enjoy hiking and working in the yard/garden.  I love to try out new restaurants, exercise, read, take art classes, watch movies, Netflix, and home renovation shows, bake, and hang out with my family and friends.  I enjoy being active. 

I look forward to working with all of our Betty Wheeler families this year!
