My name is Michelle George and I am the school secretary at Shaw Visual and Performing Arts Elementary.  I have worked at Shaw for 26 years and been in the district for 30. I started out as an ICA for Special Education and have now moved to the role of Secretary here at Shaw.  

I attended Harris Stowe State University with a major in Education.  

I am married and have 3 children, ages 24, 13, and 12.  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I love baseball.  My oldest played baseball for 17 years and played for Harris Stowe University.  My youngest son is also following in his brother's footsteps. So I spend a lot of time at the fields.  My daughter takes dance classes and is now a competition dancer.  So, between baseball and dance, I don't have much free time.  However, when I do have extra time, I enjoy spending it with my family, friends and coworkers.
