Welcome to our first grade class! I'm Ms. Israel and I'm excited to be your child's teacher this year. I have been teaching for seven years and this is my fourth year at Oak Hill. We're going to learn many new things and have fun together. I am dedicated to creating a classroom where curiosity is celebrated, kindness is valued, and every child is respected.

I want to welcome parents into this learning experience and I am grateful for the support you provide at home. I am always willing to give resources or books to help your child continue learning outside the classroom. Some things about me are that I am married and have a cat named Grace. My favorite read aloud book is Peanut Butter and Cupcake and my favorite food is ice cream. I love to read, spend time outside, and go biking. I look forward to teaching your children and supporting them as they succeed this year!
