• What is the 314/Pi Day Reading Challenge?

Saint Louis Public Schools invites all students to participate in the 314/Pi Day Reading Challenge, part of Literacy for the Lou. This challenge celebrates 314 Day, a tribute to St. Louis’ history, culture, and people, while promoting daily reading habits.

From February 24th to March 10th, students are encouraged to read 30 minutes a day, totaling 314 minutes of reading. Since March 14th (3/14) is also Pi Day, completing the challenge comes with a special reward—students who log at least 314 minutes of reading will earn a movie experience at a local theater.
