    In order to more efficiently and effectively process employment applications, as of April 1, 2010 the Saint Louis Public Schools has a new, all electronic application process. In order to officially apply for a position with the Saint Louis Public School District, all applications must be completed directly through our application portal by visiting www.slps.org/jobs to be received and processed.

      

    Administrators

     

    1. Complete an online application including at least three references.
    2. Upload the following documents:
      1. Resume
      2. Cover Letter
      3. Proof of Certification(s)
      4. Letter(s) of Recommendation 
    3. SUBMIT application.
     

    Teachers

     

    1. Complete an online application including at least three references.
    2. Upload the following documents:
      1. Resume
      2. Proof of Certification(s)
    3. SUBMIT application.
     

    Substitutes

     

    Requirements:
    • 60 credit hours from an accredited college
    • Substitute Certificate (fee $50)--If you have a Missouri Subsitute Certificate, documentation will be accepted as a full requirement. Therefore, you will not be expected to upload transcripts and FBI Background Check once you upload this certification to your application.
     

    Application:

    1. Complete an online application including at least three references.
    2. Upload the following documents:
      1. Resume
      2. Proof of Certification(s)
        1. Substitute Certification OR FBI Background and Transcripts
    3. SUBMIT application.
     
    Non-Certified Support Staff

     

    Requirements:
    • 60 credit hours from an accredited college

    Application:

    1. Complete an online application including at least three references.
    2. Upload the following documents:
      1. Resume
      2. Proof of Certification or Transcripts
      3. FBI Background
    3. SUBMIT application.
