Mrs. Voges

My name is Elizabeth Voges and I teach Special Education for grades 3-5.  I've been

teaching for 20+ years, all in the area of Special Education.  I grew up in St.Charles County, MO and graduated high school from Ft. Zumwalt Sr. High.  I went to college at Lindenwood University, William Woods University, and Webster University.  I am married with three kids, two boys and one girl.  My oldest is a recent graduate from Missouri S&T, Rolla, MO, and works as an engineer at H&B Foundry.  My daughter is a Junior at Kansas City Art Institute in Kansas City, MO; she is majoring in Animation.  My youngest son in his second year at SWIC and completing his Associates Degree.  I married and moved from Troy, MO to Red Bud, IL in 2010 with my husband Tom who works as an engineer at O'Hare Foundry off of Big Bend.  We live on a gravel road that dead ends; so no traffic rushing by, maybe a tractor or a combine though. My favorite things to do usually involve my family, whether we are hiking or riding 4-wheelers and RZR's in the Smokey Mountains or the Black Hills.  I have two indoor cats that I adore Benjamin and Alice, they keep me busy while my kids are all at school.  I listen to all styles of music.  My daughter and I have season tickets at the Fox Theater and we enjoy time going to see musicals, when she comes in town. I enjoy reading historical biographies and mystery/suspense and all types of movies.  You will always see me watching '

Hero and Villian'  movies, anywhere from the Avengers to the Minions.
