Introduction

Hello, my name is Sheronda Tate.  I am excited about the new school year.  I will be your child's preschool teacher this year.  I hope everyone enjoyed their summer and got plenty of relaxation.  I look forward to working with your students and learning about their interests. Creating life-long learners is my goal.

My Background

I currently hold a master's degree in early childhood.  My background in education starts with me working in the Head Start Program many years ago.  While working with Head Start, I received my CDA in Early Childhood.  Since then, I have earned an associate degree in Human Services, a bachelor's degree in Educational Studies and a master's degree in Early Childhood.  I have worked with children professionally in a classroom and as a volunteer (coaching) for the past 20 years.  I enjoy working with children from all walks of life.  I feel that everyone has an opportunity to learn from one another, including myself.  There are times I find myself learning from my students.   I would like to thank you in advance for entrusting your students' education to me this school year.  I am sure we will have an awesome school year.
