Hello Parents and Guardians,

My name is Evan Wagman, I am a ceramic artist and educator from New Jersey. This is my fourth year at CVPA as the visual arts instructor. My journey as an artist has taken me around the world, allowing myself to become immersed in diverse cultures and artistic traditions. I have been providential to study clay and art from the likes of the south of France to Germany, Penn State, Penland, North Carolina, education coordinator and studio manager at the Montclair Art Museum in New Jersey, the education director of education at The Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles along with an artist in residency at Craft Alliance in St. Louis. I hold an undergraduate degree from Rider University in Sociology and Psychology, a Master's of fine Arts From SIUe, and a Masters in Education From SLU. I look forward to sharing my love of art with your students. We will focus on exploring creativity, expanding their use and understanding of various art techniques and producing their own original artwork coupled with mastering traditional techniques. I can't wait to see what greatness they create this year in my class. My goal is for your students to see growth in their art and within themselves as the year progresses. We aim to maintain an all-inclusive environment that is open to exploring various concepts of art and self.
