Ms. Ford
I have spent most of my life living in Missouri, and grew up in the Walnut Park area. I'm a graduate of Gateway Stem High School. While attending Gateway, I won two high school state basketball titles. Ms. Ford has an undergraduate degree from the University of Louisville, and was a member of the Louisville women’s basketball team. I work with middle school students on building their understanding of various math concepts, resolving conflicts, accepting responsibility for their actions, repairing harm, reducing and preventing harmful behaviors, and building healthy relationships between peers and educators. Also, I work with student athletes on building individual/team skills, confidence, and sportsmanship. I love spending time with my family and friends. During the summer I love to travel and work my part-time job at Busch Stadium. When working with children, I love to use the following two quotes; “I can accept failure, everyone fails at something, but what I can’t accept is not trying” by Michael Jordan and “Never be limited by other people’s limited imaginations” by Dr. Mae Jemison.
